Our plastic “footprint”
Even out in the open sea beyond the sight of land and shipping lanes, our plastic “footprint” is still here. Alnitak collects plastics and other marine garbage daily, logging the information and taking imagery, which can often be somewhat shocking.

The text for “End plastic pollution: towards a legally binding instrument” has been agreed and according to @fabiennemcl “all eyes are on UNEA5 where this milestone resolution needs to be passed”
