Sea Turtle Tagging Survey

🚤 Last week, the University of Valencia and Alnitak completed a three-day sea turtle tagging survey around Mallorca.

They encountered seven sea turtles, all too small for satellite tags, but still collected valuable data and documented both natural and marine litter oasis effects in downwelling fronts.

Every survey contributes to a better understanding of the Mediterranean.
