Clara studied Environmental Sciences specialising in Marine Ecology, and joined Alnitak in 2021 supporting research, communications and project management across our programmes.
Her experience is both within the Mediterranean and abroad: in the Balearic Islands she has worked as a nature educator within MPAs and was involved in sustainable fisheries projects in the Cabrera Archipelago National Park. She spends about half of the year in the Maldives where she works for a whale shark research programme and organises scientific and capacity-building campaigns.
